When is the Right Time to Replace Tires?

With good care, tires can last for ten years. However, you may need to replace them after the sixth year as most of them will be worn out. Check the tire treads for starters, and if they are so worn down that your tire no longer has traction, replace the tires.

Your tires might also vibrate when you accelerate or steer or drive on rough ground. Vibrations and other sounds from the tires might be caused by misalignment. However, if the wheels are balanced, yet you still experience vibration, you need to replace the tires.

Look for obvious damage signs, including bulges from the sides of the tires, cracks, cuts and other visible signs that you need new tires. Again, be keen on tire performance. If you have to inflate the tires several times a week, then you may need replacement. Driving around with damaged tires increases the risks of them blowing out when you are driving.
