About The Buick Envista
From the styling of the Buick Envista, it would be reasonable to think it’s an eye-wateringly expensive European model that’s difficult to even find in the US. But the Envista is instead a styling leader for the mainstream subcompact SUV segment, proof that a well-made and highly attractive SUV doesn’t have to cost a small fortune. But there’s more to like about the Envista than its looks, from its nimble handling to its comfortable interior, Buick’s smallest vehicle is extremely well-rounded. It comes packed with impressive technology as well, including an 8-inch driver information display and an 11-inch infotainment touchscreen. A roomy interior with a highly useful fold-flat back seat makes the Envista well-suited to a wide variety of tasks. And its small size makes it easy to find parking almost anywhere.
What the Critics Say
“But we mean it when we say the Envista is a compelling subcompact SUV. Its sleek and sporty styling will certainly catch your eye, yet it’s also big on value. It’s plenty comfortable, has easy-to-use tech features, and beats many of its competitors on price.” — Edmunds
“Despite its dainty dimensions, the Envista maneuvers with the poise that drivers have come to expect of the Buick brand. The suspension is well-damped, and it takes the sting out of rough pavement, yielding a gentle and smooth ride. The steering is reasonably quick, making it easy to pilot in tight areas, and the brakes provide strong stopping power.” — U.S. News & World
What’s New for 2025
Having just debuted last year, the changes to the Envista for 2025 aren’t huge. The biggest update is that rear park assist and remote start are both now standard. Apart from that, the only change of note is that a new paint color, Aquamarine Blue Metallic, has been added to the option list.
Buick Envista Features

Dynamic Styling & Performance
The Buick Envista turns heads with its sophisticated fastback styling, but that’s hardly the only impressive part. Under the hood is a 1.2-liter turbocharged ECOTEC engine that produces 137 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque. This is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission, and returns excellent fuel economy. The Envista is sized perfectly for parallel parking, and the large liftgate makes it easy to access cargo. And if you’re looking for a sportier look., there is the Sport Touring trim, which comes with a flat-bottom steering wheel, a number of black exterior trim pieces, and a set of unique 18-inch black wheels. Or you can opt for the Avenir, which comes with 19-inch Pearl Nickel wheels, and a heated version of the flat-bottom steering wheel.

Premium Interior
Buick puts as much emphasis on comfort as they do on style, and the result is that the Envista is a surprisingly spacious subcompact. It will seat five, or with the fold-flat back seat down, will carry up to 42 cubic feet of cargo. And with the available power liftgate, getting at that cargo is easy. The interior isn’t just spacious either, it also has one of the best luxury features out there, quiet. That’s thanks to the QuietTuning™ with Active Noise Cancellation, which comes standard on all trims of the Evista. Available equipment includes heated seats and a heated steering wheel, to keep you warm on cold mornings. And the available power moonroof will let in a lot of natural light. The Avenier trim even comes with perforated leather seats with embroidered headrests.

Cutting-Edge Technology & Safety
In a segment where automakers tend to nickel-and-dime customers on every tech feature, the Envista really shines through. Not only is the 11-inch infotainment touchscreen standard in the Envista, so is the 8-inch driver information display. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, still often treated as an optional extra in this segment, are also standard. Safety tech also far exceeds what is expected, with Buick Driver Confidence coming standard. This suite of safety includes things like Automatic Emergency Braking, Intellibeam auto high beams, Forward Collision Alert, and an HD Rear Vision Camera. Adaptive Cruise Control is available as well, along with connected features like a Wi-Fi® Hotspot, the OnStar® Remote Access Plan, and a wireless charging pad.
