About the Buick Enclave
Buick’s flagship SUV model is the three-row Enclave, a stylish and comfortable way to transport the whole family. The Enclave offers segment-leading standard power and amenities, proving that a luxury vehicle can also be an outstanding value for money. The largest-in-class 30-inch ultrawide display gives you easy access to cutting-edge tech features, while the 97.5 cubic feet of maximum cargo space makes it incredibly practical. Safety features are cutting-edge, and even just the standard features significantly add to the superior value of the Enclave. And for all of that advanced technology and enjoyable road handling, the Enclave is also an incredibly comfortable and quiet place to be.
What the Critics Say
“We had the chance to poke around the midgrade ST and top-trim Avenir models at a backgrounder event outside of Detroit, and the focus on attention to detail is apparent. More than ever before, the Enclave has a level of fit and finish that better rivals its luxury-brand counterparts. We especially love the two-tone blue-and-cream cabin offered on the Enclave Avenir.” — Edmunds
“The redesigned Buick Enclave continues to provide three rows of seating with plenty of room for seven passengers. But the big improvement comes in the way the interior feels. That’s because Buick has placed special emphasis upon the materials used, making sure they are easily differentiated from its Chevrolet Traverse and GMC Acadia corporate cousins. The floating center console should prove to be highly practical, housing a wireless phone charger, storage, and cup holders.” — TrueCar
What’s New for 2025
2025 marks the start of the third generation of the Buick Enclave, and with that comes a complete redesign. The new generation is longer, wider and taller, and there’s a new engine under the hood that produces significantly more power. Styling is now more similar to the rest of the Buick lineup, with a boxier body and a revised front fascia. The interior continues to impress, with a more tech-forward approach that features a large digital display that combines the driver’s display and infotainment touchscreen into one continuous piece. A high level of standard equipment makes this generation the best value for money yet.
Buick Enclave Features
Styling & Performance
The Buick Enclave gives off a sense of sophistication even before you get into it. The Buick PURE design language imbues the Enclave with such a sense of style that you might forget how incredibly practical it is as well. The design is highly functional, allowing for a massive 97.5 cubic feet of cargo space with the back seats folded down, or room for 7 adults with the seats up. All trims of the Enclave are powered by a potent 2.5-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that produces 328 horsepower and 326 lb-ft of torque. This is mated to an advanced 8-speed automatic transmission, and sends power to the front wheels as standard, with all-wheel drive as an available option on any trim. All of this gives the Enclave some great get-up-and-go, and when properly equipped, the Enclave can tow up to 5,000 pounds.
Luxurious Interior
Buick has always put an emphasis on comfortable interiors and a comfortable ride that isolates you from bumps and potholes. Buick uses the latest technology to further enhance this luxury without taking away from more traditional luxury offerings, like available quilted perforated leather or the standard Bose stereo system. The advanced technology brings us features like QuietTuning™ with Active Noise Cancellation to make for a quiet and refined cabin. The standard hands-free liftgate makes loading and unloading cargo easy, and the power-folding second- and third-row seats make it easy when you need a bit more cargo space. You can also open the available panoramic sunroof with the touch of a button, for some open-air driving enjoyment.
Advanced Tech & Safety
The Enclave has a major technological edge over the competition, which is especially obvious with things like the standard largest-in-class 30-inch ultrawide display that combines the customizable driver’s display with the infotainment touchscreen. This seamlessly integrates with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for easy use of things like Google Maps or Spotify. A lot of the most advanced features on the Enclave are safety-related, things like Lane Keep Assist and Departure Warning, Blind Zone Steering Assist, and Traffic Sign Recognition. But the most advanced driver-assist technology is Super Cruise, and the Enclave is the first Buick model to have it. This is a hands-free form of cruise control that allows you to relax while the vehicle takes over driving duties, and it’s the industry leader in semi-autonomous driving.
